Our company began back in November of 2002. After experiencing rapid success and an expanding list of offered services, we decide to take on a new corporate identity that would encompass all that our company offers. Hence, our new name, The Planning Company! The owner and our director, Trina S. Chaney-Hoo, has her degree in Hospitality Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude at Johnson and Wales University, where she also studied Culinary Arts. Prior to being in Palm Beach, she spent 13 years in Miami, Florida. Her career path went from managing restaurants to directing a catering company, to working in sales in hotels, both in corporate meeting planning as well as social catering. Together, with a few regular associate and an endless list of oncall staff from all parts of the world, we are able to pull off just about anything that comes our way. We continually recruit staff that are knowledgeable in the field and have a vested interest in the success of your event. From inception to execution, you are in good hands with The Planning Company!
