THE LAHINCH MOB was formed in 2001 and calls South Florida their home. The band's creation was inspired by Aherne, a native of Dublin, Ireland, and Norvell, an Irish American traditionalist. Their passion for Irish folk music and modern day rock was the foundation for starting the group over 5 years ago.
The only live band worth seeing when I visit Palm Beach. Their energy & obvious fun in what they do really makes for a great night out! The mix of rock & Irish trad/rock sets them above anyone else in the area!
I come from California on a regular basis and always try to catch the Lahinch Mob wherever they are playing. Great guys, love the music, terrific playlist. Spider Murphys is now the place to be!
They bring out their personality in their sound. They bring a mix of rock to Irish without losing their Irish. They're energetic and just great to watch and listen to.
Best mix of Irish trad. contemporaneity and Rock and they have one hell of a fiddle player, oh wait thats me!!! haha. Well, seriously Keith is a great musician and I consider it a privelege to play music with him.
