Sweet and Fancy Cake Boutique is a family owned business serving The Treasure Coast Community. Sweet and Fancy was born as a result of their passion for desserts and pastries. They began their dream in their own kitchen creating pastries and desserts for other family members and close friends.
Jeanmarie has a bachelor's degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Puerto Rico. She has always had artistic inclinations since she was little with painting and sculptures that she would create at home. This led her to study art at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in San Juan.. She then exchanged her acrylic paints to food coloring and cake design.
Martha has a bachelor's degree in Commercial Administration from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Soon after graduating, she began to take classes in baking, decorating, sugar art design and pastries in Puerto Rico. She later took art classes at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico.
