The Karate Center not only teaches kids martial arts, but also gives them more self confidence, patience and self-control. It's a wonderful year-round program. It's a very good program for any child.
I began training back in 1997 and I have found that the Karate Center is the best place in town for martial arts training and for a good work out. Master Gary Horner and Miss Bobbie Cooper are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly and operate out of a great facility conveniently located in Lake Worth at 7000 Lake Charleston Shores Blvd. You have no idea how quickly you'll be in good shape while just simply having a great time with good people. There are classes for everyone from Tiny Tigers (3+) through teens and adults.
Adults, men and women, should not feel intimidated about strength, age, flexibility etc. Gary and Bobbie will work with you to bring out your best. Tang Soo Do (Chuck Norris’ style) is a very real traditional martial art, which teaches empty hand and foot fighting, fighting forms, self-defense, and weapons. Traditional Tang Soo Do also promotes a healthy and harmonious life. Children excel with the program and the discipline also helps them do much better in school.
