If you've ever traveled through the South, you have likely stumbled upon the hidden treasures of antique houses converted into makeshift restaurants. Dada in Delray Beach carries on that tradition with an eclectic twist. Instead of a plump granny greeting people at the door, Dada's house is filled with a mix of the young, eccentric and beautiful, as well as the unearthly presence of the home's previous owner, who is said to haunt the upstairs staff area. Ghosts aside, hanging out at Dada is like a family get-together — if your family is composed of artists, bohemians and poets, that is.
Open seven days a week, the venue features open-mike nights, poetry slams, fashion shows and a mix of local acoustic, alternative, rock and indie bands. The menu offers a list of date-friendly items such as fondue and grilled Brie drenched in honey and garlic.
Great staff , great music, great atmosphere. The bartenders are awesome and handle a very busy bar like real pros. The crab cakes are truly the BEST crab cakes in the world, the tuna tartare is really different than anywhere else and well, everything is great there. Whether you just want to hang out undere the trees in the front yard or plan a party for a bunch of friends, Dada is great!
