Frozen Custard is a superior premium ice cream very similar to homemade ice cream but even better. It is made regularly throughout the day. Our ingredients are confidential! However, just like ice cream, Frozen Custard has milk, cream, butterfat, eggs and special flavorings. There are three main differences between Frozen Custard and regular ice cream. The first is our Frozen Custard contains eggs which provides a smooth creamy texture. The second is temperature. Our Frozen Custard is served at a warmer temperature than regular ice cream which allows your taste buds to get a true taste of the flavor, unlike regular ice cream which is served at a lower temperature which tends to numb your taste buds while you are eating. The third difference is air. Regular ice cream is made in a machine that beats 75 to 100% air into the product which doubles the ice cream volume making more money for the operator but it dilutes the flavor and consistency. Frozen Custard is made in a special machine that beats only 20% air into the product which makes it creamier, smoother and thicker than regular ice cream. Many shops sell what they call frozen custard but they make it in a regular ice cream machine which creates ice cream, not real frozen custard.
Here at Charley’s Frozen Custard, we strive to make the best Frozen Custard you’ve ever tasted! We don’t have 31 “so-so” flavors. We make it fresh all day, every day so we only make three flavors a day. Always chocolate, vanilla and the flavor of the day (See the flavor of the day calendar). Our custard is not sitting in tubs in a freezer getting freezer burn or ice crystals until it is all sold like so many of the big name ice cream stores. Wait until you taste the difference fresh makes.

WOW! I traveled all the way from Lake Worth to try this out and it was worth every penny in gas! The texture of their frozen custard is amazing, like nothing i've ever had before, so creamy and smooth. And it reminded me of the ice cream shops of years ago where the staff is like family, so friendly and willing to chat. They just make you feel so welcome that the entire visit was an enjoyable experinece. We will definitely go again. Suzann

We go all the times to Charley's he is a great person and super with the childerns. Sloans and cold stone can not get even close to this great ice cream (frozen custard ) in the quality and price. You pay half for a much, much better treat!

I went up there for the first time yesterday and it was for sure the best around. I live in boynton beach it I will definitely be making that trip again.. The service was superb and the atmosphere was really nice too. I cant wait to go back!! best chocolate custard around

Charley's Frozen Custard offers a wide variety of sweet treats at a reasonable price.
The custard is incredibly delicious and smooth. And there are lower calorie options available.

Charley's is old-fashioned in every good way--quality, courtesy, cleanliness, generosity, value and real atmosphere... This place is a find. We're lucky he's here; so please support this rare gem! There is no better taste or cooler place. Tell 'em Lon sent you (just a random customer who appreciates good work.) Go eat custard--it's good for you!

I love Charley's frozen custard. I have tried the big shops, Sloans and cold stone and not only been disapointed in the quality but could not believe how expensive they were. I can not afford to take my family there. Charley's is the best by far and Charley is the nicest man. He really entertains my children and they love going there.

I live across the street from Charley's and it takes all my willpower to not just stop by every day on my home. It's the best frozen custard around (not your ordinary ice cream). Charley's has a nice local feel and great value for the $ (huge servings). This is where you want to go when you've had one of those days and you need to be nice to yourself. Or it's a perfect break in the middle of that hot summer afternoon. Hmmmmm - I can be over there in five minutes.

I used to live right down the road from Charley's, and I would always get excited when I drove by because their frozen custard was so amazing and so very different than any other frozen treat I have tried. I love the variety and the low fat options as well. NUMBER ONE on my list!! So sad that I am all the way in Jacksonville. I will miss Charley and his amazing custard. YUM!!

Oh my gosh. I could eat this custard all day long... A dear friend of mine introduced me to Charley's custard and I can not get enough. The grasshopper flavor is by far my favorite. I just want to thank Charley for his incredible custard and great service. Places like this make the world a happier place to live.
