Jan's love for ballet and her professional training in physical therapy follows Mr. Pilates vision. After injuring my back 6 years ago and was told I should never bend over again, finally finding Jan and her pilates studio has made the difference for me. I started piliates three years ago after spraining my ankle for the 3rd time. Jan Young was recommended to me by my physical therapist to get me ready for a skii trip. Since I started piliates with Jan, I am more centered and feel better than I ever have. I have more core strength than I did in my twenties and for a women pushing 50 I am amazed at how well my body feels. I credit Jan and pilates for all of my new found strength and wellness. I was taught Pilates by Jan Young since 1997. She is an inspiration and a friend. I have recently moved away and have not been able to find anything comparable to the work out that I have gotten with Jan. If I lived in the area I would travel the 30 - 40 minutes it takes to get anywhere in South Florida to go and get stretched by Jan...it can change your whole week.
